Am a bit confused. T700 or C510 |

I like the look of both but perhaps the T700 a little more, Im more of a texter but dont mind key size and I like my phones to feel sturdy and not too plasticky. I do like to recieve/take a fair few photos also. My partner is picking me 1 up tonight so I have a few hours to decide which and you all seem to know what youre on about... *suck up emoticon*
Any info/opinions much appreciated Apologies if this is in the wrong place or my question has been asked countless times! |

I have a T700 and it's a really good phone. Camera is only 3mp and only an led flash but the pics do come out ok and video recording is also quite good. I've only had a quick play with the C510 again it seems a nice phone but not the one i'd choose as the style of the T700 looks much better and the T700 build quality seems better. |

I'm using the T700 on the latest firmware and it's a pretty solid phone. But I'm thinking of getting the C510 cos the camera on the T700 really isn't anything to rave about. There's an accelerometer on the C510, camera's better with auto-focus and keypad seems to be nicer to use. Build quality wise, I think the T700 is ahead. Speaker on the C510 is louder and less shrill.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. |

Hmm, why cant things be simple? lol Thankyou both for your replies though I am still on the fence
Maybe I should leave it up to my partner to pick but we all know it wouldnt be the 'right' choice lol
Whats an accelerometer? So basically the camera is better on the c510 but the t700 looks a bit better and is more sturdy?

I've used both phones and I would go for the C510. Bigger screen. Better camera. Comfy buttons.
The T700 is a great phone too, but I think it would be more suited for fashion aficionados.
Unless you're one of them.

An accelerometer is a motion sensor that is used in various apps such as a step counter (WalkMate) or zero degree measurement (WaterLevel). It detects your movement with the phone. |

And you're welcome too. feel free to come back if you have questions about your new phone, whichever you choose.
The C510 is definitely the better specced phone here, but the T700 has the looks and build quality. The C510 is the newest of the two and will likely serve you the longest in terms of features.

solehealer, you'll find the macro function of the C510 camera very handy when you have to take pictures of documents, small prints like bar codes, small objects and small engravings. I use it a lot in the office |

What kind of work do you do chili?
@Solehealer: The C510 also has the integrated Facebook interface to boot. |

gtr83 - i do purchasing work so it's samples all the time, showing detailed pics to a lot of people via email. I use a G900 actually and i really like the "document" mode of the macro function.
Reading solehealer's original post again, i think T700 would actually suit his/her needs better. I mean yes we know all those C510 specs that the T700 doesn't have. But some folks just don't have the inclination to turn their phone into a sort of swiss army knife, to push it to the limit. It's a foreign concept to them. |

I have c510. In terms of looks the T700 is sexier but has smaller screen just a little bit smaller. Most features are the same though c510 has few extra camera features. Not sure though does T700 have HSDPA? I would choose c510 but its depends what your after. Build quality on c510 is fine though my back cover creaks a little but nothing else. Phone is fast reliable so far and has stunning screen in which pics from the camera at least outdoors look fab Internet is fast and the interface with flash menus are just great. I have silver one from Orange(debranded)but i prefer the black looks smarter. Good luck and enjoy
