The only thing (apart from the price lol) that bothers me is that case, I know Motorola expect that screen to be pretty much bullet proof, but it's not really a good idea leaving it THAT exposed while it's in it's pouch :/
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for. |

Regardless.
Wasn't this the remake of the old advertised "gay" motorola phone?? No I'm not being pretentious or picking an orientation fight here - Motorola DID advertise this phones predecessor towards the "gay" crowd. Damned after 4yrs I can find the correct ad ... but the T70 or T50 or something similar in EXACT swivel design.
one was an 80 model the other was a 70/73 I think.
Aha ....

Companies that market to gays online, or devote parts of their corporate Web sites to gays and lesbians, may also reap more subtle benefits, said Robert Williams, general manager for retail in Motorola's personal communications sector -- primarily, its cellphone business. Mr. Williams, who is also co-leader of Motorola's Gay and Lesbian Business Council, said that Motorola's open marketing to gays and lesbians gave it an edge in attracting employees from that group.
The most recent example of Motorola's efforts on this front is its Motopride campaign, a summer-long program that will wind down this week. The marketing campaign focused on gays and lesbians in New York and California, and included promotions at gay pride festivals, as well as on a section of the Motorola Web site.
The Motopride microsite included a sweepstakes featuring a Motorola V70 phone, which Mr. Williams referred to as ''a fashion statement the gay and lesbian market would embrace.''
The site has had more than 7,000 visitors and nearly 1,700 sweepstakes registrants this summer, Mr. Williams said. And though he said it was hard to gauge the campaign's effect on sales, because most sales of cellphones are completed offline, ''we've gotten incredible feedback on it from the community.''
Glade somebody likes the Aura ... me I'll take the X1 over that ANY DAY

Without wanting to offend, what the F*** has that got to do with anything??? I'm not sure about the majority, but I couldn't give a flying f**k what an advertising campaign orients an item towards, whether it's sexuality, gender, or colour.
I own a lot of phones from crap to rare, and i don't give a hoot what 'message' any particular one gives out.

Well, i like it too! As i'm sure do many peeps
It's rare, has a wow factor...and is certainly different. Plus i'm sure the build quality and feel of it in your hand is 2nd to none... well probably apart from a Vertu lol
