tried at lot of things.... seemed the only way to get another g900...

1- u must know ime to cut network of this phone,2-cut network of sim,and ask ur operator3-use this programme (recovry my files),to recover ur contacts in pc suit,u must use disk not seem at ur pc,like as usb to support it,4-transfert it to ur new phone,

sorry about the confusion....

file with extension .bm3 (uiq3) is the file you could export from the se pc suite for smartphone based on the backup you make.

the only backup i have right now, is the one in the pc suite or the exportable .bm3 file

i just wonder if there's a way to read/extract contacts from either one of the two.

I did this about 4 years ago with a p900. If memory serves me right I think I opened the file in "notepad". There are probably threads on Esato if yo search. If I manage to remember exactly how I did it I'll post later. Hopefully it'll help you somehow.

Hmmm, bm3 cannot be opened in notepad. It's an encrypted zip file. But I guess no one has managed to open it yet.
