Hi

can anyone tell me how to formate a memory card on the SE Xperia X1, if the phone formats the card automatically then what files should it have?

Many thanks in advance.

Hmm.. I don't think that there's any built in support for formatting your SD card but Resco Explorer (3rd party file manager) supports formatting your memory card. If not, you could always format it in your PC using FAT32 via My Computer.

There shouldn't be any files/folders after you format your memory card. Windows will creat the necessary directories when needed (i.e. when installing an application into your storage card)

Nope. To my best of knowledge, there isn't any built-in storage card format feature in WM6. That should explain why there are even 3rd party soft-wares dedicated for the sole function of formatting the storage card memory around.
