Got issues with this now - the phone appears to have been reported stolen at the moment as I can no longer make calls or texts with it

The provenance of the phone can be seen in the first post, the trader who sold it to me AFAIK has an impeccable record.

Hi - not blaming anyone at the moment

Trying to check with orange if it's blacklisted at the moment

Basically I can use data but not calls or texts - sim works fine in another phone
Getting 'Authorization Failed' when trying to make any phone calls

Phone worked perfectly up until late last night

OK I retract my post and apologise to all as Orange have confirmed that it's not been reported stolen on their systems

Regarding the error, occasionally this happens, imo it is because sometimes the Blackberry Internet Service can interfere with the network on the handset and henceforth data comes to the phone fine, but the calls and sms are affected.
