My friend has a nokia n96 on Vodafone under his signal meter he has 2 lines which are there constantly, I believed they were only showed on the screen when the phone is trying to download data. Does anyone know how I will find out if the phone is trying to download data or on Vodafone handsets are the lines there all the time and is it possible to remove them
Thanks

i think your refering to the GPRS connection lines. If the lines are solid, then the connection is ongoing. To stop it go into TOOLS>CONNECTIVITY>CONN.MGR.>ACTIVE DATA CONNECTIONS. then press OPTIONS and select DISCONNECT. Hope this has helped buddy.
