Hi all,
Over a month ago I sent my 6month old C902 away for repair via the local O2 shop due to a connection problem with the data pin on the phone. A week later I received the phone back with the same problem still occurring.
I then went back and sent it for repair after it was tested in store by the O2 store assistant. After a week, they sent me a refurb C902. Before leaving the store I tested it where any of the memory cards tested couldn't be read by the phone. I spent quite some time at the store so they could fill in some special form to authorise a new replacement handset. This would take another 4 days for a result. I decided to use the phone for that week rather than getting a 1997 mono screen Nokia again.
It seems that I had to make another visit to the store so they can send the faulty refurb back and then be able to issue me with a new phone. At this point I was getting impatient... and was given a Samsung flip as a loan.
Today I returned to the store to collect my 'new' phone and instead of getting the C902, they gave me a C905. Now this is a refurb to which I was happy to accept since it has more features including WiFi, a feature I regularly use on my works Blackberry.
After fiddling around and checking it was working in store, I've now noticed after sending a few txt messages that the cover is slightly loose. On further inspection it looks as if the phone has been dropped due to a visible crack in the top right hand corner of the shell.
Now my question is, I want to return it as I'm not content in receiving a cracked phone but I may lose the opportunity of getting another C905 and instead receive back a C902?
I'm also away until next week on holiday so what would people suggest me do?
TIA
