Can anyone explain what has happened with my K850i ? |

Hello all,
Last saturday was the worst day for my K850i. In the morning i dropped it from my bed, just 1.5 ft. from floor. I found that the camera button is not working properly. So i decided to open and fine tune it but after opening the back cover and while i was putting the parts back, i lost very small camera button base part. My camera button is not working now. 
My story is not ending here. At noon, i decided to master reset the phone, as i use internet heavily. All my posts are written from my loved K850i. I read here that master reset will erase the unwanted memory and phone would work fast. After doing master reset all, when it started, the display didnt turned on after that initial SE logo. Though the phone was working. I can receive the call but no display on screen. I can see the number only from my HPM 90.

Actually, sometime the media open and i could see the video and pics, not listen to music. I went to se service centre, the guy without looking at the phone said you have to change the display would cost me 2000 bucks, around 40 USD. I took back and decided to flash the software from seus. At night while updating, seus says your phone has latest software and refused to re insert the software.
What a dreadful day for my K850i.
Next day i have decided to flash it with a2uploader. Many many thanks to tranced for tutorial on flashing and the firmware links, my K850i is now back to life.
My question is why my phone behave after master reset? Is it due to lots of modding done. List of modding done to my phone - cam, accoustic, display, softkeys, lighteffects, .swf files, gfx icons, nowplaying screen, no op logo, changed menu style, etc.
Pls explain me why?

i've read some people have problem like you after doing "master reset all" on their modded K850.
but it's not happen if you only doing "master reset setting". |

So you mean to say that after modding no one should try master reset all ? Otherwise they would have same problem as mine.
Then i think i have made the right topic to save people from getting their phone out of action.

it happens to me once. trick is when you wish to do master reset, you MUST set original (preload) theme,not moded theme, and everything will be ok |

My friend, when i did master reset all, the theme was laser precision, one of the preloaded theme. Actually, i never change that theme cause from my perception, if i set another theme, it gives frequent restarts. But this laser dont.

yes, i think it's better not doing "master reset all" after mod your phone.. cmiiw
some of my friend that have the problem after master reset all, try this trick and sometimes it's help :
1. reinsert CDA files
2. or, reinsert the layout_main.xml file
