I have previously, but I'm not there any more. Never had to go to service center though. Are P800s legal in Saudi? I though they didn't allow camera phones there. |

don't remember the road name or if this is the same service center mentioned before, but there was an Ericsson store which I believe had a service center on the road that runs through the Pepsi roundabout. if not, you may have to take a quick trip to Bahrain or Dubai. |

as you said Al-jafale used to be the service center on steen street but now they are Itisalat in almorsalat you know next to saudi telecom on king abdulaziz road you can get your SE fixed there but not the p800 and it is sold here in bahrain at 2990 sr and in dubai 2890 sr .
i have problems with the service center in riyadh but i emailed Se middle east in dubai and they fixed the problem and the head of Itisalat company called me himself to apologize "that was really cool"
and fix the problem "warethom al3en alhamra 3la golatna" |

FMA...if youre planning to buy the p800 go for it...its one hell of a phone ....Im using it here and its great, as for the service centers...even here in Khobar they dont offer service for this phone ..but for me its no big deal because Bharain is just 20 minutes from my house and there they offer service for the p800. So "Royalty" if you want my suggestion....go to Bahrain and fix it there...I know its about 4-5 hours driving from Riyadh ...but what the heck its worth the drive...so good luck and hope you get it fixed soon. laterz... |

Hi saudinuke
thanx i did buy the p800 for a friend from bahrain and used it for about a day it was not as i expected it to be i dont know why but it felt weird i think i will stick with my t68i and buy the new sony clie nz-90 it has the same fettures as the p800 but it is a palm os 5.0 so "i think it will be much better " it also has a 2mega pixl camera you can see it on www.sony.com so it all comes down to what you want and like.
so keep in touch you guys and keep posting news i heard that they may not bring out an arabic language for the p800 but enshallah they do .
ps. No parts for the p800 are out yet so nobody can fix there p800 till the parts come and there is no software upgrade til now also. |
