I've had mine since October 2008 and it's broke three times. Twice the earpiece and twice the keypad, first time it fell off the keypad and it's just back from repair after the keys went stiff and failed.
It's had a software update and another new keypad and I like the new firmware so is it safe to keep this time?
I've heard alot of people with little problems with there's or it only breaking once.
Any opinions? I like the phone and can't see any others I like. |

Got a silver version and the earpiece went after about 4 weeks but I fixed that myself quite easily.
Great phone!
I can take pictures, come home, turn on the Wi Fi and my Digital Photo Frame begins showing pictures or playing music straight from the phone - excellent!
They have probably sorted out the earlier problems by now. Mine has not crashed once and there are no software bugs at all. Apart from the earpiece its faultless.
Just wish they done a white version.

Been 3 weeks or so with a 09W04 model, running R1DA032. No hardware probs so far except a slightly wobbly slider & camera cover. However I noticed that some Java apps tend to bring the 'Operation failed' error, which can be solved by simply removing and reinserting the battery. |
