Hi I am trying to load audio books onto my K850i so that they come under the 'audio book' section but can manage it. I tried to put them in a folder in 'music' called 'audio books' but no luck. Can anyone help me please

thanks

Audiobooks need to be in the extension .m4b, doesn't matter where you put it, your phone will recognize them and they'll appear in audiobooks

Hi, I just tried converting an mp3. to .m4b using some programme when I tested one track by putting it on, it still does not show up. In the file manager it can't be played either. I tried updating media...

anyone know?

I used "MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter" ver 0.18 and it worked well. Can take multiple mp3s and combine into single m4b file.

freeipodsoftware.com (should be the site) <- was free last I knew.

I copied to my podcast folder but I dont think it matters much.

I downloaded and transferred an M4b file to the phones memory card and it appeared in Audio Books in media automatically.

That's the programme I used. Maybe it's because I only converted one small file and you need to do them all?

If the book is made of 10 files in mp3 format, then might as well do them all and join as one file. Not doing so cause a problem? Doubt so. Ensure your files are all stable and error free or try a different set of files.
