Hasselblad H3DII-50, all you will need
Seriously, try any Panasonic Lumix, check test shots en reviews on http://www.cameras.co.uk You can find them for around 60-80 quid. Depending on what you want, most of the FX/FS series can shoot in 16:9 which is pretty nice, also video's look pretty good for a small digicam and can also be shot in 16:9. I just got myself a Lumix FS5 which is just great.
Whatever brand or type you choose, it is a big plus if the camera has a accu instead of taking 2 AA batteries, it will last much longer. Normally around 25-350 shots per charge. Try that on 2 AA batteries

I agree with blerk .............. I have just picked up a Panasonic Lumix FS 3. It is a brilliant well made compact digital camera.

Another nice way to check photo examples is to go to flickr.com and search for your choice, then browse photo's taken with that camera.
