Would anybody know why my C905 camera is now taking crap photos? |

Just got my C905 back from it's 2nd repair. (1st repair was to fix earpiece, 2nd to repair malfunctioning keypad) At first I was extremely pleased to find my keypad now functioning correctly, and then yesterday I decided to take some photos and found them too be extremely blurry. Previous to the repairs the camera was awesome!
Someone suggested that the lens has somehow ended up out of alignment, and I tend to agree, because the displayed image before I take photos is as bad as the finished photo. The bottom half of the screen is extremely blurry. This is not an LCD fault because all menu images, etc are beautifully displayed. All photo settings appear to be correct.
Here's how bad it is....

Wow the lens on your camera is really screwed. Does it actually try to focus when you press the camera button half down?

It looks to me, like the autofocus motor is stuck or broken. |

Perhaps that's the problem.
I've clened the lens, checked the settings. I just wanted to see if it was something I could fix before sending the phone off for a 3rd time...

I don't think we can repair that motor by ourselves besides, how dirty can a lens get? The photos shouldn't be that way if it was just a dirty lens. |

I just tested the autofocus in a number of photos, and it only worked 2 or 3 times. Most of the time I didn't get the green square or the autofocus "beep".

Maybe you should, but I don't think it's software related. |

As I see it's focused only in the top right corner. I think the motor is brocken too. Or the glass in fromt of the lense is scratched.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

Yes, blame. Sorry. You still in warranty, right?
