Applications "currently not available" |

I have a K810i. I have installed a couple of applications: Opera Mini and Google Maps. Whenever I navigate to them, they are displayed with keys next to them with red lines running diagonally through them. If I hit the left action key, I get a message stating "Currently not available".
Previously they were working fine. Then, for a period, this behaviour sometimes occurred, but shutting down and restarting the phone seemed to remedy it. Now, however, this is permanently the case Can anyone shed any light on the matter?
Thanks in advance (and sorry if this is an FAQ -- did search but couldn't find anything). |

Try a master reset, or turning the phone off, then removing and reinserting the battery (which was the case with me). Or reinstall the apps. |

Thanks gtr83. I tried switching off and removing then reinserting the battery to no avail, sadly. And I presume that a master reset will also remove all my contacts etc. so am keen to avoid that. For now I've deleted the two applications, and once I have my computer and Bluetooth up and running again I will try and reinstall the applications... |

AFAIK, if you put your contacts on the memory card and choose "Reset settings" then it will only delete things like internet/MMS setings (you can always redownload them easy), email settings, etc. |
