Hi guys,

I've stupidly gone and somehow dropped it into the sink, took i out as soon as i realised and dryed it off, battery out asap etc.

Phone seems to work ok however the camera seems to show up like sploshes of water like raindrops on the lens.

Any ideas if it's fixable?

Thanks.

It should be, could you upload some pics to see it?

If my tale is anything to go by, hopefully your phone will be okay in a few days.

I dropped my brand new C902 into a full pint of lager (don't ask!) and it bubbled away in there for a good few seconds. I couldn't get it dried out for a few hours until I got home, and it wouldn't even power up for a couple of days.

After that, and a few drops of WD40 to get the buttons working again, it came back to life. Memory card slot's screwed, as are the lights for the touch screen camera options, but I'm just surprised it works at all!

Put it in the airing cupboard.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply Lightspeed_x

It's currently still drying out near the fire just want to make sure it's totally dry.

I shall try and take pics tomorrow and upload them, just thought i'd try and gauge initial reaction to my stupidity!

Thanks for that shuandrew.

Everything seems to work ok apart from the water marks on the camera lens - it's like it needs wiping off from the inside!

Just open it up and clean the insides. Even though it looks fine now, the water still inside could cause problems in a few weeks

You should never power it on until it's 100% dried out.
