I own a hbh ds980. Its simply awesome. It has an extraordinary sound quality. When compared to ds970, it is atleast 15% louder. It is one of the best bluetooth stereo headsets in the market. About its compatibility with k850, i dont think that there'll be any problem. SE phones have the best bluetooth compatibility. Go ahead and buy it. You wont repent your decision.

There is no fast forwarding and 3.5mm jack.
The screen is beautiful. You can see battery level, time, songs name, callers name etc. It even has some cool transitions and animations to show off. Is has the highest amount of features. This includes volume control, skipping tracks, play/pause, accessing the phone book and call log. The last 2 features i mentioned are not there on any other headphones as far as i know. You can actually browse your complete contacts and call log and select a contact to call. Another feature is that you can see a list of paired devices and select anyone to connect. 2 connections are possible simultaneity. These headphones have an inbuilt DSP which gives it an extraordinary sound quality.
Edit: Here is a complete review of ds980

Yes, the sound quality is excellent, and it also has Noise Cancelling which works well in most enviroments. On the other side the call log and browsing contacts trought the handset is a little slow, and if you use it with K850/W910 your phone will lag a lot ...

But overall I'm very happy with mine

I agree, sound is great and it has a lot of functionnalities.
Unfortunately BT on the K850 is awfully slow when streaming over A2DP, that will really piss you off. You can't do something else while listening to music your phone will be at 100% CPU use.
Browsing through you music library will also be terrible.

Can't a firmware update solve these "slow" issues??? Or it's that slow on the latest one??? I know BT headphones may be slower than the wired ones, but I didn't know it may be that slooooowww.

I'm using this handsfree with my K850i and it has excellent sound quality. No compatability problem at all.. but yeah the phone lags while you stream on A2DP...

No firmware will solve this slowness. And there will be no more firmware for K850.

Yes, this "laggy" problem is present even with the latest firmware, and I doubt that SE will release one more last firmware for K850....

That's why I'm thinking of moving to Nokia.... :D
