There is a new patch out that is supposed to be released with XP SP2. Read about it here http://www.bluetoothguide.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=90&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0

You must already have SP1 installed.

It looks like the first release of the MS windows XP native support for bluetooth. Isn't it?

@Coulter
Hi there Coulter, is that the same patch as that who follows the MS BT mouse?

No it isn't, wouldn't make sense.. read the MS article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];323183 . Notice the file name. Also look at the note that is close to the bottom. Says you must have SP1 already installed.

They are the same files as the ones you have if you installed the MS bluetooth mouse. At least, that 's what I have.
To check the version number of your files, locate (use the search function) them in your harddisk and then click properties look for the version.

I insist that's the bluetooth native support which has been released after SP1, and thus it will be, for sure, included in SP2 which is not yet released. Although, as all the patches and so on, you can already download it with the windows-update stuff.

HBH-10 headset and PC/ MSI Bluetooth key connections appeared to improve after upgrading the bluetooth patch.
Used to experience frequent drop lines, now it connects flawlessly.

Theses files are exactly the same that ms delivers with bt hardware

it dosen't bring win xp to support all buds, and i hav'nt seen no interest in them as if u don't have a ms dongle, you'll still have to install your bud's manufacturer drivers and software to manage the bud...

hope we'll have a real native bt support in sp2
