hi,
i finally replaced my stolen t68i.....got it a few days ago. the box has "R7A" written on it....can someone tell me what that relates to. Also how can i find out the date of manufacture? its supposed to be a very new phone... i.e built in the last few moths but it only has the R2F software/firmware (not sure what its called) on it. can anyone tell me how to find out the build date?

..remove the battery and look for the _ _w_ _ like for example 02w27, this means that the unit was made year 2002 under week 27 so most probably it's sept. coz there's 4 weeks in a month.

R7A refers to the software release version. I believe this is the latest version from SonyEricsson.

Yo! Do you mean there's an R7a software version already? Just had my phone upgraded to R6A two weeks ago at Semicon and they told me that's the latest version.
