I personally would choose Ericsson over Sony , as I have been in love with it even before they joined up. Who knows they might acquire the Canon/Nikon technology for the camera line? Lol..yeah i know I am insane. |

If SE would split then Ericsson would probably leave the handset market completely but still remain as a producer of cellular equipment they sell to the operators.
So your choice would be between Sony and Nokia/Samsung/LG/Motorola?

Ericsson of course. The T28 and T68 were legendary.

I seriously doubt Ericsson would become a stand alone manufacturer. They went down for a reason before. Plus i would tip Sony to have more understanding of styling, camera and video. Thats their everyday business.

Yes they have but the problem they had before teaming with Ericsson was the software.
The software and technology from Ericsson plus design and media from Sony was what made

I think Sony, since Ericsson would probably go into SEGA mode and become a parts supplier/manufacturer. |

Ericsson. Sony made some awful poor phones many years ago and i used to love Ericsson phones. Though it would be interesting to see what both manufacturers would both come up with if they were both seperate.

If I can't choose between the two, then Nokia would still be a no-no. I'd go Samsung. It's something to do with their rawness. |

Sony, that's where the good stuff's at, i.e Walkman and Cybershot. I know they are predominantly just brand names, but hey, who cares... I'm not ready to move to other brands...
