Hi, there are many improvements and new options, in the contacts management, in the bluetooth section, in the sms editing, faster scrolling and T9, new 'notes' Outlook like, almost useles screensavers, and one other things that I cant remember! The only thing that I miss using my T68i is the T39 option to choose between private and public calendar entries. Thats's why I'm still using it. Than I don't like to swap the sims.

hmmm from the list only mms and memory are different. and I use my palm which takes care of these so I dont see any other difference. Not a dumb question after all.
Hmmm, I do hope the differences typed are correct! the slow sms bugs me!
in any case wont there be a successor? |

[edited for stupidity]
While the T39 has a lot of functionlaity already, the T68i has a massively improved UI, speed, MMS, color screen, etc.

Just because you have another device taking care of mms and stuff like that it doesn't mean that the t68i doesn't have it....

the t68 firmware is "evolved" from the t39 (and many other ericsson phones) so there are many similarities, but there are new features such as colour and mms, notes, improved (tho still monophonic) ringtones, picture id, email that works (compared to my old t39 anyway), and overall improvements to the speed and ease of use. the option key and the joystick alone make the phone much nicer to use. i had a t39 for a year, it was ok, but the t68 is a vast improvement imho.
