Hi all
Just debranded my Orange C905 using the method posted elsewhere on here, all successful - looks loads better and glad to have got all the 'proper' features back.
However! For some reason SMS messaging is now messed up. When i put in a message and go to send, 'send' is greyed out and when I try to press it it comes up with a message saying 'Not Allowed'
The only way to get round this is by going into the options and changing one of the settings such as 'Read Report' or 'Priority'. This then allows me to send the message. Not the end of the world I suppose but having to do this for every message is going to get very annoying. Any clues as to why its doing this and how to remedy it?
Its also sending all my SMS as MMS but it was doing that before the debrand anyway...
Thanks

Hey mate
i've had the same problem except my phone got rid of the entire function to send any type of messages.
i'm on my 3rd c905 because of it
the best thing is to rebrand your phone and leave it be, i dont know why but it seems that debranding an Orange c905 in particular just doesnt seem to work so theres no point in trying. you'll just have to live with the shitty firmware until your contract (which i assume your on) runs out then move to somewhere else, i'm going to o2 after my 18 months i cant stand the service and firmware on Orange phones.
