N95 outperforms the G900 in every aspect, except the touchscreen and userfriendlyness. |

G900 has better photo quality, but N95 is better in video recording - it has VGA video recording while G900 has QVGA.
G900 also has better sound quality and has more free RAM onborad (more than 70 MB while N95 has about 30 MB).

I happened to use and compare those two before (my friends had one).
Camera wise
N95 - punchy colours, very saturated but nice to eyes, no purple fringing, dynamix range is superior over G900, VGA recording is good. I can't tell which LED flash is superior between this and G900 though.
G900 - nice colours, bad JPEG compression (just like N95), nice details in daylight, suffers from small purple fringing, pretty slow camera performance, Touch AF is pretty good, video recording is fine as well but nothing to write home about.
SQ wise
both phones do fine in SQ, other than the pretty good and loud stereo speakers on N95 i can't see N95 being better than G900 in audio quality. both phones were weak compared to N81 anyway.
User Interface
Imho, G900 sports the best looking UIQ interface i've seen, far better than the awfully boring UI of N95(themed or not themed), but thanks to it's poor CPU the phone doesn't stand a chance against N95 performance wise. N95 needs more 2D/3D animations given its powerful CPU and Demand Paging feature! G900 has very good multitasking though, 128Mb RAM can do miracles!
Messaging
G900 has many messaging input type to use, stylus, finger touch(pretty hard because of smallish screen) and hardware keypad. N95 heavily relies on keypad, imo N95 has nicer and more comfortable keypad but G900 is not bad.
Build Quality
I hated N95 because of it's slider, and i usually prefer candybars(no moving parts) so G900 wins here imo.
Many people would say N95 wins but imo, both phones are fine, everyone has its weakness and strengths, just choose the one that suits your lifestyle. don't rely too much on others opinions as we all don't have the same tastes.

If you want a phone for the camera do NOT get the G900. Mediocre camera quality |

it doesnt matter wht other people say about a phone, jst get a phone which YOU like.if uve been using a sony ericsson phone i'd recommend not buying the n95 (i personally hate it)...i used to have w810 and bought an n95 and had to get rid of it in 2 days...i swear, indoor, its pictures are worst than a vga camera...video is good and outdoor pictures are really nice but the UI is same old boring s60
