Im having problems with setting up push-email on my P1i, so i downloaded the blackberry connect software available for P1i phones, when i try to install the software i get an error message saying "installation aborted. You must first unisntall push e-mail on your phone before installing Blackberry" What is that? please help. i just want to set up push email to work for my microsoft outlook email account

P1i supports only 1 push email system. You must first uninstall the Activesync solution which is installed by default.

ok...but if i need to use the active sync in the future...is there a way i can get it?

is there a way i can successfully install the blackberry connect system without having to put type in my server name and password when installing?

You can install BB connect, but the user name and password are required either for BES or BIS. I must mention that you need a Blackberry subscription from your operator, in order for Blackberry to work.
