$32 - I talked to a CSR and I guess my phone is covered under warrenty for the date of purchase - I guess it's free under warrenty

Coinsidently, I had just sent my T68i in for repairs. It is under warranty. I figured since it was there I would ask them to upgrade firmware and reflash the software. They said that was standard practice for all phones that come in for service. Before they leave the SE repair center all firmware and software are upgraded. |

THANK YOU PETER JULIAN for the sw upgrade info from SonyEricsson. I called the number this morning (877)234-3259 and assumed I get the usual "NO" response to my question. She said YES! They do the upgrade and it is not free under warranty but costs 35.50 (USD) if you send it in yourself. I think it is 42.50 (USD) if you have them send you a mailing label. It takes 24 hours for turn around. My carrier is ATT and my SW version is currently R5D007 and she told me the current SW update version is R6A0012. THIS IS FROM SONY ERICSSON. CALL FOR YOURSELF! |
