Is it just me, or did everybody already know that a Sony MBR-100 bluetooth hi-fi adaptor can convert any set of earphones into BT wireless?
I was amazed when I tried it on my P1i!

The clever bit is that the P1i controls the volume through BT separately from the on-board speaker, so you can actually adjust the volume in the earphones directly from the phone instead of having it blast out at line level all the time. Also your phone functions normally for calls as a hand-held, so no need to worry about no microphone on your earphones, just use as normal.

This is an undocumented use of the MBR-100 which is usually sold as an adaptor to play music from your phone into a hi-fi. I've tried other BT headphones but they're usually too heavy and uncomfortale. This way you can use your own preferred 'phones. I've used Shure and JVC ones with no problems.

Interesting! I out for a new set of BT earphones and I'm undecided atm. This should increase my options.
