Sad?
UK had 15Mb for GBP1.00 and NZ gets 10Mb for 35p - That made us cheaper.
Cheap prepay data is coming to NZ soon, either Q2 or Q3.

Its a good idea that its been reduced it will attract the data punters. Ive enquired about a 250MB for £2.50p and its being dealt with so u never know! The other networks still charge alot as far as I know.

That looks like a good deal. Data plans should not be expensive.

Like everything, they are priced to cover their costs plus a profit margin.
There is some suspicion that Data pricing is manipulated to reduce demand. Many industry insiders suspect that if everyone used a lot of Mobile Data on their phones or laptops, the Networks would crash...

I prefer to have my lump 10 Gb per month including modem, wifi, HSDPA and VOIP use on T mobile at half price for £11.25 pm, but new customers cant get that anymore, only for £22.50.

I am not keen on daily limits, limited use to handset only with no VOIP or Modem use allowed, and like the T mobile monthly data packages a lot more.

Ive been looking around for a cheap sim only data tariff for my spare phone, but the best I could find was either £20 pm on O2 or T mobile, or an 18 month contract on 3 for £15 pm with unlimited texts and internet (only 75 mins of calls).

I like that 3 tariff, but dont want another 18 month contract, so I just want a Pay as you go instead with the cheapest data rates, and just top it up by £5 every 3 months to keep the sim card and to be able to still use my T700 a little.

T mobile are £1 a day max charge and allow £5 top ups.

Is this vodafone pricing of 50p per day their PAYG price, and do they allow £5 top ups? Because that will be cheaper then T mobile.
