I have a problem with SE K750i and I need a SE GURU for this, PLEASE HELP:
I bought this phone from a guy that was selling it and he said that phone was working and one day started to reboot.
When I put in a Vodafone SIM the phone searches for network, finds Vodafone carrier, connects to it, and after 10 sec reboots.
If I press OFF button before the phone to reboot it will shut off but only for a second and then will restart again. I tried to pull out the SIM, the phone says INSERT SIM and stays on indefinitely. I tried to press OFF button when the SIM is out and the phone won't stay off, after a sec restarts.
In the 10 second window of time before reboot I was able to receive a phone call and hear the couterpart saying "Hello" so I know for sure Radio transmitter is working (but I don't know if it draws to much of current).
----------------
The only SIM I found that the phone will NOT reboot itself with, is a T-Mobile SIM. But here where I live there is no T-mobile carrier. So I'm just assuming that the phone tries to connect to a T-Mobile network according to SIM and since is not finding it, gives up and shuts off the radio transmitter. It is very interesting that at all times I have 5 bars of signal on the screen (but I have no idea of what carrier's signal). On the screen anyways it shows INACTIVE SIM and the phone never reboots. I was able to try all the functions of the phone with that SIM and everything is working fine: camera , radio, mp3 player, games... all. I tried switching off the phone manually from power button and it switches off BUT it won't stay off.. in a matter of seconds reboots (switches back on by itself). Only a battery pull will stop it from rebooting.
I mention that I flashed the phone 3 times. 2 times with XS++ and once with SEUS and I upgraded the firmware to the latest version.
I also need to add that before flashing phone was flashed by the guy I bought it from with W800 firmware. also the phone had the joystick removed and replaced.
CAN Someone tell me What is WRONG? SOFTWARE or HARDWARE?
I asked 3 diferent GSM repair shops and I got 3 different opinions. I also searched the net but wasn't able to find something. It looks like no one knows what is the problem, PLease help. |
