Why do you choose SE over Nokia? |

Got a problem" =/ Want to use One phone, not two. Got a W902 and a Nokia N79, and i love them both, and they fill my daily needs in different ways. W902 with its amazing sound, very handy camera, TrackId, and the whole easy way of using it.
Nokia with its Gps ability, got Garmin on it so works like real gps.
A bit mediocre music quality compared to W902, camera is annoying, for instance its red video recording light, it has no TrackId..
And a few other minor things i miss.
But these are just my needs, for the common people its still a better phone.
Simply has Alot more features.
So why get an expensive SE when most nokias do more for mostly a lower price?

Because of the design. Nokia sucks at the design part. Their phones just look so goddamn boring.
Because of the UI. SE's is the best interface I've ever had the pleasure of using. Period. It's fast. It's straightforward. It's intuitive. It has flashy animations (important!).
Because of TrackID. Even Samsung's alternative sucks compared to it.
Well, that's mostly it.

I started loving SE with T68i, that time even their then-flagship 7650 does not have theme support but that little phone (T68i) has!
I prefer SEs over nokia in imaging as well, Nokia Post processing is worse than SE's (always over saturated colours, N-R and sharpening ruins details even with their almighty N82- just take a look at the Touch HD review where they have compared it to N82), SE's colours are better too (with the exception of K850 of course)
I also prefer SE's UI, just take a look at idou, the current software still uses nokia's S60 5th UI but has better icon pack and a much better multimedia manager.
Everything else is the same as with night Blade's |

?????
it nearly always the opposite man. (just take a look what nokias new flagships costs when they comes)
Nokia have very few beautiful phones. one is 8800, (it surely have awesome buildquality and great design & features)...this I WANT
-----------------------------
(SE wins with their design, build quality, battery, UI, camera features/quality)
when Nokia make this kind of phones, i might switch

The UI here too. But their service is far above SE's. Just look at the amount of firmware updates they keep pushing out. And those are not just some bug fixes, they introduce NEW features for older phones.
Much unlike SE who doesn't seem to care about fixing bugs let alone introduce new features for phones not even on the martket for 6 months. Most SE models don't get much if any updates at all.
A phone designed by SE with the service and update levels of Nokia would be great!

UI is īprettierī and perhaps more straighforward but it is totally based on nokiaīs UI. didnīt do much more than changing the icons and adding a few different commands here and there. |

hold on, are you saying that SE has anything whatsoever to offer in the design department apart from their infamous ugly, boring, copy and paste designs? at least nokia vary their designs to a much greater degree.
as for the UI, what is the point of having a UI that is flashy when the software is so unreliable as to make many SE phones unusable and impractical. when 'god' was giving out practicality, you stayed behind to watch the fireworks. |

I choose SE over Nokia because SE might break down and need repairing, Nokia WILL break down and need repairing often! |

well the repairing thing is completely not true
I will choose SE over Nokia for 3 important things
Camera functions(best pic,face/smile detection etc.), specs,interface etc
INTERFACE
and beautifull displays
For those who believe no explanation is necessary, For those who don't none will suffice |

I find all of their designs fantastic. And I, apparently unlike many others, do no seem to detect any obtrusive similarities between the designs of different handsets. Rather, I see a certain deign logic they seem to incorporate in every phone and I like it.
at least nokia vary their designs to a much greater degree.
Yeah right, AS IF.
