Ok, first of all, your insurance will cost your £25 where as the warranty repairs are free, so that'd be stupid to pay them money.

Secondly, O2's repairs takes between 7 and 14 days in store, with the option to 'loan' a simply basic Nokia/Samsung phone for a £25 deposit (which you get back, don't worry!) if you need to (you're better off using one of your old phones to be honest).

The insurance, if your adament about PAYING them for something that is a WARRANTY fault (sheer lunancy but there you go) then they'll do a 24-48 hour door-to-door swap for a near-new or refurb (you'll be bloody lucky to get a new one), which to be honest will probably be about as new as yours. If you get one you're not happy with just let them know, if you're REALLY THAT picky about it (you'd have to be a very fussy person to really worry about it not being PERFECT...).

Faster repairs: They do because some of them have repair centres on site, but not all.

Loan phones: First I've heard of it but ok.

Cheaper insurance: Yeah...you get what you pay for, with the 'cheaper' CPW insurance it's usually either one claim and it's void, or the excess goes up with each claim (I have a friend who claimed from them three times in 18 months, first excess was £25, next was £50 and the last was a whopping £75!).

You pays your monies, you takes your choice. In other words, you get what you pay for
