DO NOT BUY THAT!!!

Firstly, a tip I've learnt is that on ebay you NEVER (no matter what product it may be) buy from places like Hong Kong, I'd if possible go for a UK seller (I take it your from there) If there is a problem it is much easier to communicate with them. If there is a problem it's probably easier to keep the item them waste time and money sending back to Hong Kong. Secondly in that listing it does not say it's genuine anywhere so you've got no excuse for a return on that part, also from the image the quality looks okay but I'm sure it is over exaggerated and not the real item you'll receive. Lastly buying covers from ebay is a mistake even with a UK seller.

For that item you're paying round up to £11 whereas here:
http://www.datakits.co.uk/sto[....]lver-housing-cover-p-5510.html It's £15 but the 4 pound extra is worth it for the quality you'll get from a genuine Sony Ericsson product. (you may even be able to get it cheaper, look around on google)

Good luck on fixing your problem, although I still am unsure if this will fix it. Maybe it is the actual keypad membrane because I don't understand why it would not work when the screen goes off, - obviously it's something happening to a change in the electrics so I am not sure if replacing the cover will fix it as that is not an electronic part. But hey what do I know? If you want to just got for it.

Nice website adsada, too bad they don't have C702 fascias. I wont order anything from Ebay as it will probally be a fake and a bad fit at that too. You know any decend UK based shops that might have C702 fascias?

Hi, that's odd I've had a look on various websites and stuff and I haven't found anything. Maybe they just don't make them for the C702? I'll have another look tomorow when I've got more time (Wifi will probably get cut off now )

Yeah like above ^ it says it's the original equipment manufacturer, should be okay although in the picture it does not have the keypad which is the part you want...it does say 'full housing' but maybe it is just the covers, it doesn't have any other info. I'll look for a UK website now that I've got more time. ;D

Cheers, and I kinda hijacked this thread because I'm looking for a replacement housing for my C702 and didn't want to open a new thread, the OP is looking for a W890i Silver housing. I would like everything, housing/fascia and maybe even the keypad keys and volume rocker and the other keys. But I heard those are very hard to get. Thanks for the help.
