Hello all,

I need help on turning ON radio without attaching the cord for K850i. Any secret code or patch to do that?
Actually i want to use stereo bluetooth handset, but radio willnot work in any stereo bluetooth handset. So i want to mod my K850i to use the radio on stereo bluetooth handset.

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

with my p1i i plug in handsfree as antenna once the radio is on im able to tranfer the sound by pushing the play/pause or ff/rew a few times on the headphones it takes a second then transfers the audio.
my car stereo is the same i push pause on the head deck and it tranfers
the the p1i also has a function to transfer sound to headphones or speakers etc.
an audio modd would be good though as i dont know if it works on other phones

Ceaser, your phone cant be patched yet so i dont think its possible to use the radio without headset. Even if it was, you wouldn't get any reception anyway!

There is such .vpk patch for W910 and I think for K850 as well. It works on my W910.

StevenC,
No. k850 cannot be patched yet. There are patches written but they cant be applied with JJPatcher, which is the only way to patch A2 at the moment.

Yes you would need an antenna or a cord for reception. This patch is very useless because you would get noise only without an antenna.

@buntoo
You have hbh ds980 ? Actually i am also planning to buy it. Can you tell me how it sounds? Any problem you faced with it? What really stopping me from having it is the radio. I want to enjoy radio as well. Did you try the trick mentioned above by nz turtle? Or a patch mentioned by stevenC ?

@ceaser2008
It is superb, excellent and wonderful in sound quality. Good combination of Deep bass & treble. Just buy it, you'll enjoy n it is worth buying.

One thing to be noted: on the product homepage they claim it has a 6hours battery life, but the battery lasts maximum for 4 hours only for music listening.

As for radio, you can't use any BT handsfree for streaming radio audio on it. I dunno abt symbian phones but on java you can't. And K850i isn't patchable still now.

Thanks bantoo
How is its oled display. Can you read it in sunlight as well? Actually i AM using hpm 90 with green oled display and i think it has the same earbuds as given in hbh ds980. I cant read the display when in strong sunlight.
How it looks? Stylish enough?
Anyway i will be buying that.

OLED display is Good and the handsfree is stylish more than enough
I havn't checked display in sunlight so far.. and abt earbuds; i think it will be better than hmp90 coz it digitally enhances sound signals by itself. [addsig]
