I bought a 16GB sandisk memstick m2 yesterday and tested it on my w880.
It works fine, I currently have 10GB on it.

8GB memstick and 4GB memstick work also fine.

Well, in my experience it is better to
stay with what your phones manufacturer
specifies it can handle, but if it works fine
then lucky you.

The DB2020 and later platform phones can support any memory stick no matter the size... The ONLY thing it is, the card HAS TO be formatted with FAT32 filesystem... Otherwise it won't read it. The theoretical barrier for this is 32GB (windows supports up to 32gb FAT32 partitions to format).... But larger FAT32 partitions format should be possible to do with some other operating system than Windows. This means that your W880 or any other new phone will support the card.

It takes a few seconds when you insert the card into the phone.

After the initial delay, it works like other cards, I access files and browse instantly.
