When the next firmware arise after R1BA038,
it's number was R1BA042,
logical sense of increasing number in the name of latest firmware
NOW, latest firmware ( if I figure right )
is 032.... ?? :?

but why they changed letter instead number?
They begin with B,
and numbers are increased,
and now is D, and number is smaller.... Anyone ?
There is some difference or reason at least .... Or maybe nothing.... |

it's just normal software versioning scheme, something like:
R1BA034 = v1.0.0
R1BA038 = v1.0.1
R1BA042 = v1.0.2
R1DA032 = v1.1.0
minor changes, fixes, improvements are described in 3 digits. major changes (new features) are described in 2 letters
