Hi guys

Yesterday I had my boss playing with my P800 (he wants one, too . When I wanted to send an SMS in the evening, I saw an empty contact on top of all the others. "Strange" I thought. Trying to delete it: "Not supported"... "Even stranger". Checked the Quick-Dial pad (in phone-mode), all the names gone, only pics there, and underneath the letter "A", everywhere.
Has this happened to anybody else? All I could do was a restore of the data I had backed up two days ago...
Hope that wont happen again...

hmmmm.... it might not be a P800 problem... it might be a 'boss problem'.... hehehehe...

what exactly did your boss do??? for now, I always watch over the people who play with my P800... considering that most people are Nokia users, they're not very good at operating devices hehehehe...

just try restarting the phone. If that doesn't work, try syncing all your files first, then do a master reset (format drive)

this is the first instance I've heard of this kind of problem.

That's exactly it, restart didn't help, I had to restore the whole stuff, changes in contacts weren't saved anymore either.. Pics were assigned, and names, but not numbers/mails aso...

He f*cked your setting up more than likely because he just pressed stuff at random like a typical idiot boss. don`t let morons like that near a high tech bit of kit again. it`s also very easy to screw your internet & wap settings if you accidently touch the screen in handwriting input while viewing the settings, i`ve backed mine up on good oldfasioned paper.

XBone,

It happened to my T68i. It hang once, I needed to Power Off and then On. All contacts with voice command were blank. And I cannot delete them because "Not supported". However, when those contacts call me, their names are displayed correctly on my phone.

I think this is a common FEATURE in SE phones.
