Today this problem happened to my W910, everytime I open a game or app it will say operation failed. I've never connected the phone to the computer before and in fact it has just come back from the service centre for a message sending problem. Seems like a very common problem but there's no solution to it?

This happened to my wife's W910 (specifically she couldn't access her text messages anymore). We tried everything, including using the PC software to try and copy messages across.

In the end we used the SE update service to upgrade the software to a newer version - that got rid of the operation failed, but lost every message in her inbox permanently. So it might fix your phone too, but there's a chance you might lose your games and apps.

The W910 was a terrible product, typical of modern SE it seems.

I was going to also suggest an update. If you do decide to update your firmware you will need to backup everything you added onto the phone because it does delete or 'clean' your phone after the update.

To back up your phone content you can use MyPhoneExplorer which you can find here

There is also a backup option in SEUS...

Just so you know
