I've posted on another thread about the fact that I'm seriously considerign leaving Orange.
As it's been a long time since I was seriously up with the various contract deals and handsets, I thought that going Sim-Free with say, O2 might give me the chance to look around for a bit.
However what happens if you have a decent monthly spend on Sim-Free for a while and then want to upgrade? Will they offer you a retention deal to go onto a contract in a similar way that renewing a contract works?
