Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and pretty much a beginner when it comes to modifying mobile phones.
I want to use the camera module from my old w810i for a different application. It will no longer be housed in a phone. I need to know the pin outs from the camera module.
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, I have searched online and have not been successful as yet.
Any help regarding this would be most welcome.
Thanks
Phil

I am no longer going to use the module in a phone. I intend to mount it onto a RC car and transmit the images back to my PC via WiFi or another suitable method.

Thanks for your input.
All I am really looking for is diagram detailing what each of the connectors on the camera module is for.

Sony policy in case of MCB systems is unclear. despite the fact that there are many versions of MCB you won't find anything except of MCB770 datasheet, even on the Sony Semiconductors web page. looks like they want to hide informations about MCB, I have no other idea. I am very interested in programming of MCB systems, but unfortunately, I can't find any informations how to do this

where to start? e-mail to Sony Semiconductors? well, I would like to believe that huge company will support small hothead with specification for MCBxxx developers... it's time to go from clouds to the ground

if you will find or know something useful let me know, I will do this same
