Hi,
I've just bought a C905 and wondered if someone can give me some information on two things.

Firstly, I haven't had a non-Symbian or Windows SE for a while (my last models were the X1, P1 and P990). Is there anyway to reduce the size of the font used in the phone (i.e in the phonebook, text messages, etc)?

Also, when I'm writing a text, the white area of the box (where the text goes) seems to dim and then get brighter, like a fading effect. Is this supposed to happen?

Thanks for the help!

You can't easily change the font sizes, but I believe it's possible with certain customisation programs.

and

The text box dims and brightens according to the light intensity received by the light sensor to the left of the earpiece. If it's bright then the screen is bright and if it's dark the screen is less dazzling. It's designed to save battery life. No other dimming should happen.

Yes it does fade in and out. When a small popup is open, the background fades out, then when the box closes it fades back in. If you don't like it, open your theme in theme creator and edit the dim colour (can't remember where it is, but its there)
