I have just got my X1. One thing I cannot figure out, how can I get the phone to show my current position (latitude/longitude)? I don't want maps or any other location based service, I just want a position like you would get from a standard handheld GPS receiver.

take a look at GPS Test

when viewing the lat/long data you'll be best to switch to landscape mode

Thanks for the suggestion. However, though it shows the satellite signal strengths, I cannot find the actual position anywhere. So not much use as a GPS receiver!

OK, found the display now! So all is well.
