HBH-DS220 distance from handset sucks |

SE bluetooth music streaming with my HBH-DS220 sucks.It does not stream properly (with handset in my trouser pocket and the headset in my shirt pocket).They claim it can go to a good 5m right?Any ideas or tweaks or something to correct this? |

do u have some program using massive or goin online?? cuz it skip on my hbh ds205 too...

Do you have static noise in the background or when you pause a song ?

Your having problems because you've covered up both the phone and the DS220.You should wear the DS220 on the outside on a colar or something (not in a pocket) and your phone can be put in a pocket but is recommended to be on the same side as the headset.Bear in mind A200 platform phones do produce frequent skipping no matter what.A100 platform phones work fine and seldom skip.

i got da DS205 connect to my w960... is awesome!! only thing is im not use to da regular headset it comes with it... so i change to the noise cancellation headset original come with w960. it streams music perfectly, no skip or anythin... the only skip is when i use a program or a game dat drain massive ram, or when da 1st time i try to connect to internet... wat sux is i cant listen to radio without the adapter...

I use my DS220 with the headphones from the SE HPM-82 and i use them with my T650,P1,W960,K800 perfectly.When i use my W910,K850,C902,W890 the music skips frequently.

Are you sure that your ds220 is original?
cuz i can be like almost 3 - 4 meters away and still works great..

now im concerned.
I bought a DS200 a few days ago and if it skips then its going to be a waste.
Plus its from ebay so doubt I can get a refund. |

yes i bought my headset from SE showroom.even when the headset,handset are not covered the streaming does not go beyond 1m.and yes the clarity when it working is awesome.nonetheless this distance thing still bugs me. |

btw i would like to know if the distance bug has got anything to do with handset.i use k850.does the 5m distance really work for anyone? |

wow is ds220 so crappy while with k850?? cuz my dad is plannin to get a ds200... n ds220 is juz have better headset then ds200...

I got my ds200 2 days ago and used it for 30 mins on the bus.
So far its been very good. no gaps or pauses in music while my c905 is in my jeans pocket and the ds200 is in jacket pocket. The phone does slow a bit but not as bad as some people make it out, its still usable. Thats a phone issue tho and not headset. |
