will FLOAT MOBILE AGENT work w/ SE C905?
They're both Java phones...
the software FMA
http://fma.sourceforge.net/index2.htm
is crucial to my day to day life. i've tried other software and nothing seems to come close to its usability, shortcut keys, etc etc.. unfortunatly, drako (the developer) seem to have stopped developing it.
Now i need a new phone and I need it to work with the last update of the FMA software .. then i'll be good for another couple of years w/o having to transition to another software
can anyone confirm if C905 works w/ FMA?
Thnx

In all seriousness, get over your loss and have a go with MyPhoneExplorer

It does what you are asking for and much much more.. I donated 10euros within minutes of using it for its advanced functions and usability.
Enjoy
(ps I wouldn't trust a bit of software that suggests I back up my phone database before using it to back up my phone database.. get MPE now!)

on the contrary guys I have tried MPE before, i started using FMA.. and even a year after using FMA, i tried MPE again just to see if it got better..
but once you really realize the full capabilities of FMA MPE still doesnt stand a chance.. the shortcut keys, the workflow, everything..
As an example.. when doing SMS work (repling, group messaging, sending, etc) on my FMA, i dont use the mouse.. everything is done on keyboard.. shortcut keys, ALT keys, etc.. on MPE you'll need to use the mouse once or twice every now and then..
just this and over 10 other things that I found better in FMA is enough for me to atleast try and stick w/ it..
Now I have to admin the last time I tried MPE was around middle of last year. but looking at the screenshots of the current version I dont see much have changed..
it's a sad day for me

Each to their own mate MPE works amazingly on all counts with my c905 and my gf's k810. I love the fact I can use my PC keyboard on the phone, which makes inputting 63 character WPA wifi codes a lot easier (a simple copy & paste).
MPE is free but I donated and the programmer sent me a special hint/secret function I was quite impressed with too.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't FMA for use only with the older SE phones like the T68i, T610 etc.?
I don't think it's compatible with the latest SE phones, or indeed any from the last few years.

Yes it is for older mobile phones because they aren't updating it anymore. It's still compatible with A2 though. I use both FMA and MPE to archive my text messages just in case it would become unstable over time.
