Samsung INNOV8's smile and blink detection doesn't work |

Could any INNOV8 users confirm please.
Ok I recently picked up a cheap omnia and when you half press the camera button amd in the settings you have face detection and smile detection selected the camera takes a pic once the subject smiles.
My INNOV8 just doesnt do this. You have to full press to take a pic and it doesnt care whether the subject is smiling or not!
Also If I switch blink detection on then lo and behold when I take a pic if the subject is blinking then I get a pic with eyes shut.
Is this just my model or does anybody else have the same problem???
I have updated the firmware once already (which was a task in itself) which improved the battery but thats about it.
Please advise as Ive had it a while now but will still take it back if its faulty.
Will a phone manufacturer give us personalised txt alerts as a standard feature plz! |

come on guys there must be some INNOV8 users out there who can give some advice on their experience with their handsets?
Or is everyone too busy patting each other on the back claiming their INNOV8's camera's better than SE's C905???
One of the reasons I took this handset over the n96 was the better camera functions while there's no doubt its camera is good it appears the the extra features dont work |
