Is "sleep mode clock" back? |

Asi I know, some time ago SE did a stupid decision and removed the option "Sleep mode clock". So the screen does not show time on standby status.
Now there are many new SE phones in the market and I would like to know: is this option back again or still missing? |

Its still gone sadly, but pushing one of the volume keys brings it up |

Yeah pushing volume is still better than nothing!
In the new nokia 5800 it's plain black and if you want to see the watch you have to unlock the full screen
Anyway it's a matter of battery saving so people will not say ''hey this c905 has a crappy battery'' like heavy users of 3G+GPS+Wifi are already saying

Yes, SE answered to me also that "this is can save more battery".
But I told them to put that option back, because then it's up to mobile user to decide: to see clock on standby mode or save a bit battery. Simple as that.

You can edit the menu file to add this option in the phone. |

And how to add it - which thing should I edit?
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

Add this to the menu.ml in Settings Tab Display, under Settings_Brightness_Id
Code:
|
<element id=\"Settings_PartialDisplay_Id\">
<label type=\"name\" textid=\"LS_SLEEP_MODE_CLOCK_TXT\"/>
<label type=\"helptext\" textid=\"LS_SLEEP_MODE_CLOCK_HLP\"/>
<link type=\"internal\"/>
</element>

Do you need an editor and how/where do you download the phone software without installing it directly?

Thx brother for the script. Work fine on my phone. Something wrong there.. Why SE not included the script in this menu option? I have answer for this question. On my phone, the time status is very dark. My phone is K550 with TFD screen, Maybe work fine if my screen type is TFT. That's my opinion..
