Ok... I bought a T68 with a vodaphone contract this morning. Left it charging all day and turned it on tonight, but all I've been able to get out of it is "SIM ERROR" where the network name should appear.

I assume this means my account hasn't been activated. How long should this take? I've had 4 one2one phone before and all have worked more or less as soon as I turned them on.

Also, I've been reading about the forthcoming software upgrade and was wondering how you locate the nearest service point. I'm in Manchester, Uk.

When I got mine, About 2 months ago. It took Vodafone nearly 2 days.

But the bloke in Carphone Warehouse said that it can take that long.
