Is there a way to turn the photo preview off. I mean, everytime i take a picture it comes up with the picture i took. I just want to carry on and view the pics later. Thanks. Im using an orange branded k800i

I'm afraid that the preview has been put there to conceal that the phone is busy processing and compressing the image before storing it into the memory, and even if the preview wasn't there, the phone, and especially the camera, would be unavailable during that time. This is a very common problem with cameras in mobile phones, the computing capacity is too weak for the image handling, but this is a design choice made when the phone was designed: The higher CPU capacity, the higher battery consumption. This is strange, however, for example, my digital system camera can take 3 pictures per seconds continuously until it runs out of memory on its memory card, and the battery lasts for several hundreds of photos. Oth, that camera cannot make phone calls or play mp3 music...
