I've installed PC suite(download it from SE website) and the installation process for the driver is done,and i connect my W960i using usb but the PC suite doesnt detect my Phone, but my Phone is charging and it displays the usb icon on my screen, why is that?

Help pls?

You have to open upp a COM-port. Under Control panel, Phone Monitor you can do that.

and then just click one of the port and open it?

*edit* Com1 and 3 are disable and it is not reserved and i cant even press the reserve button...

go in the bios and enable port usb

I guess ayoub.70 means you should enable USB in your computers BIOS.

Have you tried another USB port?

Which operating system do you have?
Have you checked that "mRouterRuntime Module" and "DXP SyncML Module" are ticked in the tab Exceptions in Windows Firewall?

Have you run the Phone Connection Wizard?

there's no DXP SyncML Module on my Windows firewall but the other one is checked... yeap i've done that but it states that there's no phone connected...

Doubleclick the P1i icon in systray. In PC Suite for Sony Ericsson -> Tools -> mRouter-configuration -> Advanced Settings, is USB ticked?
In your computers Device Manager -> Ports, do you see Sony Ericsson P1 Application Port and Sony Ericsson PC-Connect Port?

Have you tried with an uninstall and reinstall of PC Suite?

yes, i tried uninstalling and installing it back but it is still the same...

there's only 2 mode for my phone, one is fast mode and normal mode...
