So yeh i got joystick problem,all it does is just select option menu but i can't move it left or right,i have tried contact cleaner on the joystick but my results are the same,whats the best option to do?? should i try updating the drivers? or should i get someone to solder a new joystick on the phone?? or send it to SE repair centre,if i do,how much do you guys recon it cost to repair??
please help me =(

Send it in for repair. It should still be under warranty.

Well i bought it off Ebay so i wouldn't have any warranty unfortunetly =( so how much would it cost to repair?? their is a £10+VAT to send it back to me aswell..:S

Hm... I don't know. You could alternatively try to clean the dust around the joystick base by dismantling yor phone. Just look for a guide on how to do this. There should be one here on the forums.

Well i have tried this method with contact cleaner,i've sprayed it 3-5 times now,of course 2-4mins wait for it to dry then i tested it without putting caseing back on but theirs no differences unfortunetly,would update the drivers change anything?

so their be no point updating drivers?? mine is unlocked,and if i do update it,it would get rid of the unlocked software.
