Help me Choose One C902 or C702 |

I'm making a acquisition ...but i'm not convinced wich one i should pic.....
C702: i love the fact that resists to water, dust etc... and it's a classical candybar shaped phone with no joystick and camera cover..and his 2,2 inchest display the only thing that bothers me is the 3,2MP camera(wich i know that is one of the best at this resolution)
C902:i love his design, slim and metalic casing,i love his 5 MP sensor, i've seen the results and seems better then my K850 at least on auto.I like the stereo sound during video recording
The things i have doubts/bothers me are 2inches display to small for my taste, the sliding mechanism and the touch buttons how durable are they in long term?Is the display a fingerprint magnet,i mean as bad as the K850?
Any help will be appreciated.Thanks

well if your a camera fan then i'd go for the C902,for balance usage and protectivity and build quality and balanced specification then i'd choose C702 as it has 3.2mp which is quite successfull for camera on phones |

Tough choice.
The spec on both phones is very good.
The C902 is wafer thin and has that cool slide out camera thing but is more expensive, the C902 appeals for the dust/water resistance (I wish more phones were like that) and lower price. But the nod for me goes to the C902 because I just don't like the buttons on the C702 especially the oddball D-pad reminiscent of the K850i.

C702; haven't seen much better photo's by C902, and it has more to offer for a smaller price, like GPS and a larger screen. 2 inch is very small these days.

I would personally pick the c902, as long as price isn't a factor.
The design of the c702 really doesn't flick a switch in my mind and dust and water resistant isn't really in my lifestyle( besides i heard dust gets under the screen) though gps is admittedly handy.
The c902 is a gorgeous little testament to classic SE designs. And on many an occasion i wish my k850i had those touch sensitve camera settings buttons. 2.0" is a liveable size i reckon. |

if you want gps go for c702. if you want great camera (c702 cam is not very good) and stylish metallic-casing go for c902.
and like Luci power says, c902 have better video and sound quality (higher bitrate, etc). if you looking for a phone with classic design, i should pay this extra money to get c902. |

On a side note, C702 makes a great backup phone to anything. iPhone, C905, Touch Pro, you name it. It's kinda like a present day K610 to me.

a friend bought c702 some months ago, his quite happy with it, the biggest letdown (he feel) is the camera outdoors and the "joystick". he told me that he press the small buttons around the joystick VERY often, (i guess he have normal size on his fingers). anyway, i tried c702 joystick and i agree, it didnt worked perfect.
think you have to decide "what" you want from the phone.
are you going to use it in ruff weathers, (at sea, in the woods, etc), then c702 is better with its gps + watersafe casing.
but if are you going to use the camera(video) a lot and wants a more solid/stylish phone, then c902 is better. (the camera slide is really ok by the way).
about c902 & c702 screens, its no bigger different between them. c702 screen is 0.2" bigger, c902 otherhand handle direct sunlight better.

Simply, for me C902 is more wow-effect (Touch keys, Rotating display, Sliding camera, Thinness, Metal casing, Bestpic) while the C702 has more "living" features that you maybe appreciate after longer time (GPS, Bigger screen, Higher resistance, Rubberized surface, Torch, Easily accessible M2)...
I've chosen the C702, it's up to you to choose what d'you prefer...

Also, the performance of C702's cam is greatly improved by custom drivers (a good example is number1's).
