P1 3g reception problem? |

I just recently got a used p1i, and for some reason it is getting almost no 3g internet connection whatsoever. I can connect to wifi no problem in hotspots, but I can't get any 3g. Help please?

Have you activate your 3G?
Control Panel-Connection-Mobile Networks-More-GPRS and 3G is the manual setting to activate it.
If you do so,and there's no 3G icon at P1 upper bar,maybe your local GSM operator not provide 3G. |

thanks amanhotep - that was exactly the problem. For some reason the phone was set to manual instead of automatic search |
