Phone For My Boyfriend |

Hello,
My boyfriend is looking for a new phone and I swear I saw one on carphone warehouse a week or so ago that he would love but now I can't find it anywhere.
To cut a long story short, he's a builder and I needs a phone that can take a knock or 2. His SE phone is almost falling to bit. I saw a phone that was dustproof, waterproof and shockproof. But now I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone recomend something to me? He'd prefer if it had a colour screen and a camera.
Thanks,
Rach

That could have been it. It could have been a nokia, but basically Im looking for anything that will do the job.
He's not looking for anything too fancy, I'm not sure he'd be into anything that was Symbian...but theres always hope haha.

If you want a truely rough phone for your boyfriend then forget about the SE C702 and also Sony Ericsson altogether. Sonim XP3 Enduro is the most durable phone out there right now. It doesn't come with a camera though, however it seems to be one of a kind rough phone.

Bear in mind that Samsung Solid(cheaper than JCB/Sonim) has a better IP(54 against 53 for the JCB) rating, and should therefore be that touch more resiliant(in water, at least)......
...and of course, it's cheaper(<£100, IIRR)!

Thanks for the advice, I went for the Samsung Solid. Hopefully this should last him longer than the last one.
Rach
P.S - Yes I'm sure he does have the ability to pick his own phone, but this is a gift.

Or you have gone for the JCB Phone, lol. It can be run over a car and still be ok.
